Monika Chasi is a young, rising actress and former national rhythmic gymnast from Lithuania who transitioned into acting after a 14-year professional sports career. She is known for portraying characters who are deeply loyal to themselves—characters grounded in emotional truth, inner strength, and quiet defiance. Monika played the unforgettable Agne in the Lithuanian franchise hit adventure comedy ReEmigrantai 2, which earned $1.2M at the box office. Her debut short psychological thriller, IUD, in which she portrayed the multi-layered Kyla, was selected for 11 film festivals, winning multiple awards and premiering at Cinema de Catalunya. She also starred as Polina in the WB Finland TV series Allomurtaja, as the Blonde in the romcom 10 Dates for the Baltics Go3 mainstream platform, and in another Lithuanian cinema box-office hit comedy, A Millionaire's Legacy ($1.9M), as well as Felicita. Legendinės Legendos. Monika’s career began with short films such as Constitution (Raindance Film Festival 2022), Right Move (Birmingham Film Festival), and My Wonderful
Apocalypse (Vilnius Short Film Festival 2024). Her performances hold a delicate tension between vulnerability and power, revealing the complexity beneath stillness. With a unique blend of instinct, physical presence, and raw sensitivity, Monika brings to life characters who never abandon their truth, no matter the cost.
Monika is currently one of the faces of Danone YoPro’s global 360° campaign, Feed Your Progress. She appeared in a Pols Ice Cream commercial directed by the well-recognised Lithuanian film director Emilis Velyvis, alongside TV presenter Rolandas Mackevičius. Monika also did an ad for the Star Trek video game and was the face of the Lithuanian national campaign “You Are”, advocating for mental health. Monika was styled by the legendary Lithuanian fashion designer Ramunė Piekatautė and was featured in Elle Lithuania twice, talking about her career in acting.
